Husband's office has a Velo binding machine, so he took my thesis to work with him this morning. Later, we had the following email exchange: Husband: The books are bound. I will create labels for the spine using our Brother P-touch 1280. According to the instructions, you should list your name, title, graduation year and concentration. Should it read as follows:

Suzanne Reisman Safe Harbor 2010 Nonfiction

Let me know if I should modify that at all. Also, should the title be in quotes or underlined?

Me: Wow, how fancy! I was just thinking I'd write it in Sharpie. :) I think the title should be underlined. Thanks a gazillion!

Husband: It doesn't seem possible to underline without underlining everything... I printed a few different versions of the labels for you to choose among.

------ I know he loves label makers, and I think he's really excited that he doesn't have to pay my tuition any more, so the giddiness took over. Whatever, he's totally the best.
