The Woman Behind the Curtain

The Woman Behind the Curtain

Suzanne Reisman lives in Manhattan with her husband (Husband) and the ghost of her 13 lb. rabbit (Tycho Bunnae), but in honor of her Chicago-area roots, insists on referring to soda as "pop" and sneakers as "gym shoes." She loves exploring the unusual and is the author of "Off the Beaten (Subway) Track: New York City's Best Unusual Attractions." She's also humanist misanthrope. Her writing about the city, public policy, and/or feminism have appeared in print and online. Suzanne has an MPA from Columbia University and an MFA in creative writing from The New School. Currently, Suzanne is seeking publication for a novel set in Warsaw in the 1930s. Usually she does not write about herself in the third person.
