It's a Mystery
Why would a community health organization offer orange juice (but not water) as a refreshment at a course on how diabetics can take better care of themselves?
Labels: Asshole idiots, random, What is wrong with people?

Agreed.
Honestly, that's hilarious.
Um, it's better than soda!
Not really - Tropicana orange juice has 110 calories, 26 carbs, and 22 grams of sugar, while Coke has 97 calories and 27 carbs, and Pepsi has 107 calories, 27 carbs, and 27 grams of sugar. Sure, you get some vitamin C and maybe A with the OJ, but a diabetic blood sugar spike is no better with OJ than pop. They really should have water available instead.
It reminds me of when I was in the hospital with a kidney stone, which I was told could be caused by caffeine, dairy, etc. Then they gave me coffee and milk for breakfast.
I know I should not laugh at that story, but it is hilarious. I love the American medical system.
seriously CLASSIC.
